Mud Island Garden Centre
"An independent family run garden centre.Over 30 years we have built a reputation that is second to none with an emphasis on quality and value for money which is evident to all who visit. Lawns and hedges within the garden centre create a fresher greener feel, helping to make a delightful shopping experience. We grow the plants ourselves at our own nurseries which means maximum home grown value for our customers, and we also source plants and trees from specialist nurseries in the UK and abroad so that we can offer the most extensive range possible.Assistance dogs only."

My 1st visit, lovely garden centre, lots of varied plants and bedding plants, lots of gift ideas in the shop as well, very kind and helpful staff will definitely be returning
First time visit to this garden centre. Great selection of plants from bedding to shrubs and feature plants. Good range of pots too including the usual terracotta through glazed and quirky weathered feature pieces. Interesting array of indoor plants and a quite eclectic range of plastic animals, jewellery and artificial flowers. Tidy, compact and curious, worth a visit if you are in the area. Very; very well cared for plants and such reasonable prices. Cute little indoor section too, highly recommended! Also really lovely staff who were so friendly and kind to my 3 year old. I didn't catch the name of the young man in the hat who told us a story about baby spiders but he is an absolute credit to the company and made a real impression. Will visit again!
Loved it! My first visit, so much to see. Found their plants inspiring, took lots of label photos so I could do homework and will be back shortly to buy.
Went for pots, compost and some indoor plants. Came away with more than intended!! Staff very helpful and made the experience a pleasure. Update: Today's visit we got a twisted Hazel, lovely looking plant and it seems to be healthy as well as good value..
Just bought some great plants to fill gaps for winter colour in our garden. Lovely place. Will definitely come back soon.
Good selection of plants which all look well cared for. Selection of standard type garden centre additions like gifts and homeware too. No trolleys we saw in the garden centre itself just at the entrance, so if you need one get one on the way in. Make sure you pick up a loyalty card at the toll too.
Nice choice of plants. Friendly staff. Got an oleander which is sometimes difficult to come by. Good prices too
An absolute joy. I didn't want to leave
Such a pretty place especially this time of year, it was like walking into Santa's grotto. Quite expensive but aren't all garden centres
