James is such a brilliant chap, my car was in limp mode and he was able to exolain what had happened,l and how to avoid this situation in the near future... he sorted me out the very next day. Car started really playing up, gears were becoming impossible. Popped I. Towards the end of the day was offered a slot but couldn't do it... so instead of saying oh dear... amazing mechanic came out to look at it immediately for me. Then pretty much fixed it and explained TBD problem and advised that the clutch was on its way out. No hard sell,no pressure to book work. Just really kind and helpful as always.. oh and I wasn't charged either!!! Wouldn't take my car anywhere else!
Great service, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. I took my car there for a service and MOT twice now and also a tyre change and a small repair. Very honest and reliable company. Took my car there initially for a second opinion as another place wanted to charge me an extortionate amount for work I didn't need. Shannon, who I normally speak to, is very professional, friendly, and able to explain things clearly. I am sure the rest of the team there are just as great. Highly recommended.
Not good. Used them for many years with no issues however.Called and booked 3 days in advance for some minor standard issues. Took 5 whole days and the car was returned with only 2/4 jobs completed and was only notified about 1 that hadn’t been completed.
Booked myself in for an MOT and Service, then the weekend before i was due to go in, it all went wrong. My engine started making the most horrendous noises. Southsea MOT were very accomodating, despite Mondays probably being hectic for them they managed to fit me in and repair my car and get it through its MOT and Service! It now sounds better than it ever has since i've owned it, and for a price tag that was more than fair. Came here as a recommendation from a friend, and would gladly recommend it myself. Thanks for your help!

Fast efficient and helpful. Jim was able to diagnose two different problems and got them fixed at a good price. Would recommend him to my granny.
A good crew. I left the service and MOT with peace of mind. My Golf mk5 achieved 15% better fuel consumption on the next tank. The headlamp polish a total score for visibility!
Great service and they don't try to find things wrong with your car when performing a MOT, I would happily recommend this garage to anyone.
