Disappointed.applied for psychology course after lockdown then to be told it’s canceled then they rang few weeks or months later and said without notice oh course starting tomorrow.nApplied last year for Italian went there in August course meant to start in September that got cancelled said will be January now..popped in and spoke to receptionist in December checking if January course still ahead and if my name down for Tuesday or Wednesday she checked and said yes you are in for Tuesdays group starting 13th come for 6pm.Todaynrushing through the day to get there to be told to go to students records cause they haven’t taken picture ,went there then they say oh you haven’t enrolled go back to reception .how does that work if my name was down when they contacted me etc makes no sense I give up not going back there again.
Very good. I have done taken several courses in the language and arts departments and found them friendly and very useful. I was only a little disappointed to see that there are not as many short and evening courses available as there have been in previous years.
Waited till 5 days before the start of the year too tell me I was not coming back for another year because they don't think I will keep up with the work. Could have emailed me that 3 months earlier and given me a chance too find a different college. went for a year 4 days a week 1h 30min too get their never missed a day even the day where I had too go in for 25min lesson in the morning
Been to this college for 2 years studying art and design and all we did was PowerPoints and like only did 3 peace of work and no help in maths and English and all together I didn't learn what I came to college to learn very disappointed nnI came back this year on a different course and it's honestly even more worse and to much favourizem and been told of for taking 10 min brake from lesson as I got autism and they don't listen or understand it and then tell me off for being different from the others.nnAlso been bully by some teachers and also seen other teachers bully others very poor college with the way they treat you and just disappointed in it all together. To rude and judgementail. Learn nothing being here
The Art and Design course is not what you would expect. Most of the work you do is PowerPoint making, and the tutors where very unclear of how you should make your PowerPoints and they weren’t around to help you with them either. You only study 3 different topics and then on your final project you have to make an even bigger PowerPoint. The thing that dissatisfied me was I was never told anything about there being so much computer work, I expected far more creative work instead of digital. As for Maths and English the tutors were off for multiple days and if you had to do both there was no time in between them and as someone who had 100% attendance I can’t agree with all the adversing that students who attend college more have better wellbeing because I found it very lonely there and hard to try and have a good time.
