Lovely campus, great space for living. Was dreading moving in day, but the staff/helpers there were fantastic, we could not have been offered any more help and all done with smiles and manners. Felt really relaxed leaving her, she's going to just fine. Well done and thanks Edge Hill
Went with my other half to drop his son off to start his new life as a university student. I was amazed at how well it went was expecting loads of parents with their kids and not enough help. They were really well organised, he was in his room and settled in within an hour. The staff were friendly and helpful.
I've spent a lot of time at Edge Hill University; Ive lived here, studies here, and worked here, completing 3 degrees 4th in progress. Ive experienced different aspects that most people dont get too. Some of the teams are great, a real asset to the student experience, which is the main focus and purpose of the institution. Many members of staff genuinely want to do the best for their students, going above an beyond. Unfortunately, there are some members of staff that don't care, and their actions are at best performative, all for show, falling down where it really matters. Some teams, like accommodation, are awful, totally unhelpful. For most students, who have little to no issues, they dont see the failings. Its only those who actually need the service to do its job, that realise how badly the services are. Teams such as student wellbeing and the security unfortuantely let students down who need them the most. Overall, the good does far outweigh the bad, and for most students experiences will be great. Its just unfortunate that for the few who face barriers, the support and service lets them down. And the university isnt interested in addressing those shortcomings
Just finished my final undergraduate year at this University and I thoroughly enjoy it! Great campus, everything is close together. There's a McColls, Subway and Starbucks on campus too. Great facilities and excellent teaching staff.
Visited applicant day for 2022 Geology & Geography course for my son. Love the campus, facilities are amazing and staff awesome. Hoping my son gets the grades to get in.
Went to an open day with our grand daughter. First impressions were what a lovely place this is and so clean and a sprawling campus. Can't vouch for the academia, but edgehill is certainly in a nice location
Very impressive,quite blown away by the whole place and what it has to offer,very informative staff and friendly students whose knowledge was second to none. Well organised open day and now joint top place for my daughter's choice of university. A big's up Edge Hill
Unless you are white, this school is not for you! I repeat, unless you are a white person you will not enjoy this school. The administration team is so fatigued that every process is daunting and slow. I applied for the pricey accommodation because its what I wanted and what I could afford. the accommodation team took one look at me, saw my nationality and thought that it had to be a joke that an African could afford their pricey accommodations so they moved me to a more "suitable" accommodation as they put it and gave a white woman my place. My fellow non whites, if you want to be treated like a second class citizen, go to this school.
Fantastic site loads if parking
They don’t accept students with mitigating circumstances to be a reasonable reason for their slight drop in exam grades in their medical course, however they kindly change your course to another subject.
