One of the best ponds in the UK to see terrapins thriving. Bring a camera!
Museum good but only open by appointment. Visited as a group and don't know if general public can book.
Lovely place, well kept and interesting. Went to feed the ducks but got swamped by pigeons! The wildlife are very confident, the kids loved it!
Amazing. I assumed there’d be much more at the museum but it was still good. The Volunteers are kind and helpful. Always wanted to visit a really historic building such as this!
Southchurch Hall is an original farmhouse dating back all the way to the 13th century, with some extensions built in Tudor and Victorian times, and in the 1930s. Well preserved and cared for by volunteers. Admittance free. Worthwhile a visit, 20 minutes is enough to get a good impression.
Beautiful! Used to go here as a child and my gran went here to buy milk when it was a farm about 1910!
We had our wedding here last week. It was lovely. The staff who work here were all very friendly, and the building and park are beautiful
Fantastic little find. Hidden away amongst the houses. Short walk from the town to see history. Friendly helpful staff. A great educational environment for all. Worth a visit..
Lovely building and surroundings. Recommend visiting.
Compact and had kids dressing up stuff. My kid enjoyed putting the helmets on.
