Fantastic historical house. Free to visit and you could spend hours looking and reading all the facts about it. It has so much historical facts and information available to the public. From monks to royalty and the people who lived here and who just visited over centuries. Great day with the little ones
Great visit thanks to a tour from Verna. Lots to see and a surprising history of Southend. Richie Rich! Who knew?Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Nice for a stroll. Great autumn colour. The Priory building is very well presented and improvements have been made for all to enjoy.
Really nice surrounding gardens and the grounds are gorgeous and suitable for the whole family. Lovely formal areas along side a large pond.

Great place to visit, relax and take in some green space and history.
It is very peaceful. I had an amazing time as l learnt how long the buildings have been preserved by the government.
An excellent area for walking, doing exercises, getting dogs to play. It has a great amusement park for children, and three tennis courts.
Will not allow wheelchair and buggy access into the building, also very rude member of staff Telling me multiple times and not listening.
A really interesting museum and historical building.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
