Individual chalets, largely privately owned. They are beachside on an all year round dog friendly beach. A very peaceful site as the club house and shops are adjacent, so do not disrupt those of us seeking a quiet escape. The chalets vary in sleep capacity, facilities and cost. Call upon Boat house chalets most definitely of the highest standard of cleanliness, comfort and professionalism. We happened across them and our stay is always faultless. Walkability: The dog friendly beach is cleaned daily and very beautiful. Our dogs adore the meet and greet, fresh air, exercise and sheer joy of being seaside. Lovely walks up and down th coast for several, largely even miles.
They were under some construction near the beach but it didn't hinder us in anyway. A lovely little village with friendly residents. It was strange to see so many rabbits but lovely too
I don't know if we went at a quiet time, but I loved the peace and quiet. The sea is a short walk away, so could hear the waves etc from our holiday home. Plenty of benches and a great view greet you. 5 minute drive into the town. Shops, amusements, Street cafes, charity shops and toilets bound. Will go again.
Nice place to stay for a few nights. Not overly commercial but could do with a few more amenities - small shop and bar maybe? Mikas is just across the way but caters for all the sites and isn't big enough.
Third time we have stayed in two Years. We stayed in the delux caravan although it was ok felt the carpets and upholstery could of been cleaner. No vac, dirty marks on chair and dining area cushions. Toilet seats had urine stains as well.
Chalet was excellent everything you needed was catered for. Bedding smelt lush when u walked into bedroom. Well maintained and a short walk to the beach.
Great location on top of Wilsthorpe Beach. The chalets are lovely. Perfect peaceful beach holiday. Me and my dog come here every year for our Summer Holidays.
We've stayed at South Shore Holiday Village 3 years in a row, at both Bae View & Golden View & its always a delight.
2 minutes walk from our lovely chalet,to be greeted with this gorgeous beach!!Rooms: 5/5
Love this place been 2 years in a row in October it's very relaxing
