Story

SLB is an independent builders merchant in the heart of Lanarkshire. Our aim is to “deliver more than materials”, and we strive to put service, choice and value for money at the centre of what we do. Established in 1997, we’ve been serving customers all over Lanarkshire providing a wide range of products enabling a single source solution for most projects.

We’re founder members of NBG (The National Buying Group) and also members of NMBS (National Merchants Buying Society) and the BMF (Builders Merchant Federation). Such memberships allow us to share information, gain knowledge and continually develop whilst gaining the best possible price, quality and service from our suppliers which we can then delivery to our customers.
