Enjoyable zoo with pleasant gentle hillside setting. No Must See features but it does offer very close viewings of giraffe, miniature hippos and snow leopards. The new tropical house is reminiscent of Eden in Cornwall though much smaller. The ground floor section (energy, climate, science themed) was very good. There were very few primates, which my kids normally love. Food is moderate to good. We went on a rainy bank holiday weekend and were never met with any lines.

It is a beautiful place to visit in all seasons and weather. Good for exploring and walking. An ideal place for dog walking and being with family. You can even have a BBQ in designated places. Great place for children to play. Improvements going on the last time I visited in December.

Beautiful part of the country. Wonderful walks and the views are fantastic. Lovely pubs along the way too. Great place for children to explore and have fun without all the gadgets. Makes for a good day if tying in the Sussex coast.

Breathtaking view. Even though you kinda know what you will see, the first time seeing it is always amazing, after around 15-20 mins of a walk uphill. Wide open field at the top if you like to have a picnic or do some activities. There are no barriers, so be careful up there. (Its quite high)

An excellent place for dog walking. Loads of fresh air walks on the peaceful south downs. Plenty of ups and downs to keep you fit. Beautiful scenery, can't ask for more.
