Story

We are all about the HOMEMADE: from cakes, chocolate brownies & scones to soups, stews and even the coleslaw!

BREAKFAST: all the usual suspects from a full plate to rolls or just some scrambled eggs with spinach & cherry tomatoes.

BREAD: thick cut sandwiches, toasted if you like as well as paninis or simple filled rolls all served with a dressed salad and coleslaw or any other sides we might have.

COFFEE: LAVAZZA, served however you like, be it a strong black americano or a gingerbread latte with marshmallows and cream on top!

Consistently delicious grub! The eponymous Cake Lady makes a cracking array of tasty treats never had a better brownie and the soups are great.

Fantastic place for lunch. Caters for gluten intolerances. Their cakes are amazing and the staff are very friendly too. Would definitely recommend it.

Amazing stew and lovely staff!

Have had many takeaways from this little gem of a place. Soups are always delicious, toasties are amazing and sizeable and although I've never tried their baking, it looks great! Very reasonably priced. Just beware, the soup runs out pretty quickly and it's easy to see why!

Had the pleasure of eating here on many occasions, and it's consistently excellent. Coffee, cake, breakfast and lunches - I've always loved what the wonderful team put together.
