We are a small family run cafe within the Netherlee area,serving up delicious treats both sweet and savoury, ice cream and coffee to our customers, 7 days a week, 365 days a year!

Story

The Derby Cafe has been around since 1945 and is known for it's delicious ice cream, as well as its quality food and friendly service.

We serve "top notch" vanilla ice-cream, with a wide range of toppings and sauces to add to your ice-cream to MIX IT UP such as ;

Just been to the derby first time my new wee place to eat staff very friendly and the girl Darcy who served us was very nice and polite black pudding in the breakfast was amazing will defo visit this wee gem again

Excellent, service, food very good and home baking excellent.

The ice cream is the best, freshest vanilla money can buy. They do good toppings, chocolates and sweets too but I like the ice cream just as it comes, in a tub, cone or wafer. They also have a few tables and offer a home cooked meal - good value and friendly service

Food is so varied and delicious. Staff very attentive. Try this cafe at least once you wont regret it

Nice service, menu and wee treats.

Such a good find.. Passed a few times but never been able to park.. Well tonight I did.. Lovely cosy place and staff all lovely. Will def be back! Ice cream looks fab.. Only downside no hot water in toilet.

Had a great snack at the Derby Cafe . The food was lovely and the girls made a space for us as we were a party of four but it was no trouble. Very cosy wee place .
