Had a lovely time watch the T20, England v South Africa. The food and drink is a little pricey as are most of these places. I would say the staff do need a little more training with the tickets scanners as they weren't going to let us in as they said the ticket had been used twice, which it hadn't,the 1st lady wasn't overly helpful to sort out the issue but after asking some other staff we were able to get the issue sorted.
Excellent first visit to Sofia Gardens to watch Welsh Fire play Trent Rockets in The Hundred Cricket Competition. Lovely walk from the train station to the Cricket ground which includes the Park. Very helpful Stewards on arrival at the ground and excellent drink, food and toilet facilities! Good to see station to refill water bottles. Good seating with very good views of the pitch and whole ground. Excellent experience will be back!
Went to watch the hundred. Parking was little expensive and took 45 mins to leave after game had finished but other than that the day was fantastic. Received flags and sponge hands on approach. Greeted by fantastic friendly Steward and brilliant views for two games of cricket for £43. Lovely food in the ground, refreshing snow cones. 10/10 for the day.
Absolutely fab place to have a stroll and stretch your legs if you have a changeover. Just over the bridge from the coach stop. The park was full of spring colour. Two fantastic coffee shops. One just over bridge and another 5 mins walk away. The Secret Garden does amazing vegan amd veggie food. The blossom on tje trees was an added bonus. Absolutely stunning x
Great atmosphere watching the 100, plenty of choice for food and drink. Great view from the seats we had.
