Bengal Cuisine is an award winning family run Indian restaurant in Brick Lane, the heart of London’s East End, serving the finest authentic Bengali cuisine. The restaurant is stylish and modern with an extremely friendly atmosphere created by husband and wife Mr and Mrs Rashid and their team from Bengal.

The dishes at Bengal Cuisine are prepared with both conviction and a strong held belief that Indian cuisine is not about ‘heat’ but more about a marriage of fine aromatic fresh herbs and spices. In Bengal, Fish is the national dish so it is perhaps no surprise that it is the Fish Tikka curry dish that won Mrs Rashid at Bengal Cuisine, the curry chef of the year award. Take a way chef Babri Hair Cut is very bad in his behavior. He doesn’t have any respect to customer. He is arrogant and does not know what is food hygiene? He loves to argue with customers. All happened to me yesterday when I was there to buy some take a way food. Chef thinks he is the No. - 1. In the universe.
Service was reasonable and staff were generally friendly. They ran out of rice while I was there showing a lack of management! Food taste and quality OK but could have been better.
The jalebees are by far the best I've ever had. Thin, crispy and not overloaded with the syrup. Made fresh to order. Recommended.
Today I got very bad customer service, the guy/chef who served me chanaboot and dalbora was very rude and aggressive to me. He does not know the way to talk with customers. It’s really very bad. There is no food hygiene at all.

Good quality food, reasonable price for buffet. However, item selection are not massive. Mixed Asian food taste.
