Welcome to Bengal Cuisine Indian Restaurant

Bengal Cuisine is an award winning family run Indian restaurant in Brick Lane, the heart of London’s East End, serving the finest authentic Bengali cuisine. The restaurant is stylish and modern with an extremely friendly atmosphere created by husband and wife Mr and Mrs Rashid and their team from Bengal.

The dishes at Bengal Cuisine are prepared with both conviction and a strong held belief that Indian cuisine is not about ‘heat’ but more about a marriage of fine aromatic fresh herbs and spices. Bengal Cuisine Indian restaurant’s cuisine is versatile ranging from the extremely mild to the richly pungent, offering a vast varied menu, choosing only the freshest, natural ingredients, wholesome sauces and flavorful spices prepared specially by Bengal Cuisine’s expert chefs according to your own preference.

In Bengal, Fish is the national dish so it is perhaps no surprise that it is the Fish Tikka curry dish that won Mrs Rashid at Bengal Cuisine, the curry chef of the year award. In the words of the ancient Gods: “The sun brings activity energy and vigour while Bengal Cuisine supplies sustenance and food.”

Definitely my favourite place, that I have already visited many times. I would like to mention a very high quality of all products and especially meet. The portions are very big , so I always take food takeaway, which render my each visit very abundant. At the same time, the price is wonderful, not overpriced! Thank you to the Bengal and all workers and owner, for taking care out of clients.
Went there while on our trip and was hesitant as I’m intolerant to lactose and wasn’t sure how my options would be. After being seated it was a very lovely atmosphere, such friendly service and always helpful! As I was asking questions about the dish and my intolerances the waiter laughed and said “anything is possible!”. I felt very well taken care of and would highly recommend coming here. It’s quite small but absolutely worth it! Will come back next time I’m in London : Dietary restrictions: The menu is clearly labelled and the waiter is always there to help you out!
Friendly helpful staff and great food, I’ve been visiting the restaurant since I was little with my family too for over 30 years Vegetarian options: Saag aloo, vegetable curry, chana masala
Very cozy and intimate atmosphere for a very comfortable and delicious meal. Great service from Ali and the team, and the food is exactly what you’d want!Food: 5/5
I find it strange that two recent takeaway reviews awarded to this excellent Indian restaurant both have very low ratings. I suggest they come and actually eat in The Bengal, and they would see just how good the food is here. I have been coming here for many years and have never had a bad meal. I ordered a Chicken Tikka Naga and Pilau Rice. My sister ordered Broccoli, Spicy Dhal, and Peas Pilau Rice. The food was piping hot and beautifully cooked. The Naga sauce had a nice kick and was very spicy. The Broccoli dish, I've never seen anywhere else, tasted amazing.
i been eating in this place for the last 20 years and never get wrong , food quality and service 10/10 , all the staff snd the delivery guys always taking care including the owner malik the boss great man that always lookafter clientes Kid-friendliness: 10/10 in all ways , i strongly recommend this place is a family place more than a restaurant
Best Indian restaurant in West London. Brilliant service. Lovely food. Would have given 5 stars but they have stopped serving choccie mints which we all miss. Bring them back! Xx Vegetarian options: Wide veggie choice
Went there looking for a curry, but left with friendship and a great curry. Our waiter was a great guy who perfect recommendations, we will be back!Food: 5/5
This chicken vindaloo was spicy and also tasty! Also, the service was kind and polite to me when I first came to this restaurant and the staff also understood I was Bengali Sylheti, as my origin is Bangladesh.Food: 5/5
Initially asked for collect when arrived asked if I could eat in, they said sorry we packed it already, not very good customer service also asked for food to be spicy and hot, didn’t have no spice whatsoever, ended up eating on back of car in this freezing cold weather -1, they did offer me a free poppadum as they refused to let me it in on the plus side. :
