Bengal Cuisine is an award winning family run Indian restaurant in Brick Lane, the heart of London’s East End, serving the finest authentic Bengali cuisine. The restaurant is stylish and modern with an extremely friendly atmosphere created by husband and wife Mr and Mrs Rashid and their team from Bengal.

The dishes at Bengal Cuisine are prepared with both conviction and a strong held belief that Indian cuisine is not about ‘heat’ but more about a marriage of fine aromatic fresh herbs and spices. Bengal Cuisine Indian restaurant’s cuisine is versatile ranging from the extremely mild to the richly pungent, offering a vast varied menu, choosing only the freshest, natural ingredients, wholesome sauces and flavorful spices prepared specially by Bengal Cuisine’s expert chefs according to your own preference.

In Bengal, Fish is the national dish so it is perhaps no surprise that it is the Fish Tikka curry dish that won Mrs Rashid at Bengal Cuisine, the curry chef of the year award. Fantastic meal for less than £10, everything of excellent quality and taste; don't miss this place; I had the five plates below and am very well satisfied

Went there for lunch with colleagues. We liked the food. There was a good choice at the buffet. Price was 9.95 GBP.

Food is good and tasteful. This is the main positive  note. The guy at desk has been unprofessional and was only caring about being paid in advance . The place in itself is clean with enough room among the tables. There were few customers. Consider it only if you care mainly about the food, and do not pay much attention to the manners.

Loved the food reminded me of being home in South Africa. Lamb was so soft, all chicken curries were tasty and my partner loved the chicken wings. Such a great variety at the buffet. Will definitely be back.

Went here with a couple of friends with no prior plan, found it very relaxing. The buffet dinner was good and the choice of wine was decent. The staff were very nice and polite. And the prices were very reasonable. The experience was topped up by light oriental instrumental music. We’ll go back again. Thanks!

They place is clean and the food was good. The tables are too small quite cramped. Overall a good experience with good food please do go and enjoy yourselves.

Great restaurant! Delicious food with lots of vegetarian and vegan options and excellent, friendly service all for a good price.

Food was okay, could be topped up when there are more customers coming in. Short staffed, person at the counter making mistakes and over charging customers. Also I over heard him say pay by cash, it's good, when the customer wanted to pay by card.
