Our first time at Som Tum was a total delight for our family group. This is not our first experience with Authentic Thai cooking but this was without doubt the best we have ever eaten. A fantasic choice of menu at very competitive prices was enjoyed by all our group, the service and the personal attention was first class. The food which is freshly cooked is served in a traditional manner on tables covered with the whitest linen table cloths I have only seen before which compares with 5 star big city resturants. The dining room is situated in a small cosy local Public House, The Northern Inn, where local and guest beers can be taken with your meal, a comprehensive wine list is offered with a choice to suit most tastes. We are due to return again next week, in the meantime we have enjoyed their take away service, which although was as good as before but lacked the personal service and ambiance that dining in provided.
