We both had the large breakfast and it is large. We both couldn't eat all of it. We used the QR code and ordered via the App, which worked well. The staff were helpful and friendly and the service was pretty quick. We would certainly return when in Retford again.

First visited Rondo’s a few years ago and now I am a regular. The food is consistently fantastic. I’ve had breakfast, lunch and dinner here the burgers are the best around! and everything is really tasty.nServing staff are excellent. Food is always quick, no more than 20mins, and dirty plates are cleared quickly.nSpecial mention to Lindsay who is my favourite member of staff. She is so warm, welcoming and particularly kind with my young boys. She speaks to them directly and waits for them to order their own food and generally makes them feel really grown up. Fab, fab person!
Wow, what an experience this quirky place was. The gluten free menu was 5 . To be honest wasn't much going on in retford at first but soon got lively and this gaff was lovely Katie was an exceptional host and her MARGARITA cocktail was amazing. I travelled from Leeds to check out a gym and this finished off my day nicelynAmazing service and amazing food xxx
We visited Rondo Lounge in Retford on Sunday evening as a family of four. We’re regular customers of The Lounges chain and have visited many across the country, so we know the warm and welcoming atmosphere they usually offer.nnUnfortunately, this visit was very disappointing. When we arrived, the “wait here to be seated” sign was out. One member of staff, who appeared to be a manager, was sitting at a table in front of the bar working on a laptop. Another member of staff, who I initially thought was a customer, was on her mobile phone having a chat. No one acknowledged us or came to seat us. After waiting and realising no one was going to help, we found our own table, as did the groups who came in behind us.nnAlthough this may be personal preference, the music was far too loud for a half-empty restaurant, which didn’t help the atmosphere. No one came over to check on us or see if we needed anything. I had to go up to ask for a gluten free menu and some colouring pencils. I was handed a gluten free menu and around 15 pencils, most of which were broken. It genuinely felt like a chore for the staff member, and there was none of the friendliness or warmth we’ve come to expect from Lounges.nnIn the end, we decided this lounge just wasn’t for us. We left and drove to Tambo Lounge in Newark instead, where we received a much warmer welcome and had a great meal.nnA very disappointing experience, especially compared to the high standards we usually associate with The Lounges.
