I recently had a Nissan Leaf repaired. The body work was great but they left no battery capacity, not enough to get home. They had no experience with electric cars. They said they would apologize but i am still waiting.

Got the driver-side door of my Honda Jazz replaced here via Aviva after a taxi driver reveresed into me recently. My car has a pearlescent paint finsh, which the guys as Solus matched perfectly on the new door they fitted, and all the associated eletrical components of the door were in full working order when it was returned too. They picked up my car and returned it when they'd finished and every member of the team who I met or spoke with was very polite and profesional. I'm a very happy customer :)

I am very disappointed from my experience with Solus. I got my car repaired at Solus through Aviva Insurance, they supplied a courtesy car and they found a dent on the courtesy car when collecting it back. I couldn’t do anything as I didn’t inspect the courtesy car when collecting it, but I told them I will fix the damage if necessary. I asked them to tell me how much will it cost to be fixed and do not proceed with anything without my consent. I didn’t heard from them for 2 days, I had to call to ask what is going on and a very rude lady told me I have to pay them £500 to for the repair. She didn’t give me a chance to say anything, she said I have signed their terms and conditions and according to this I agreed for them to repair any damages on the courtesy car that happened when the car was with me. I checked with two garages that repairing damage like this would cost between £150 - £200. I sent them an e-mail asking to be treated fairly and at least allow me to pay the actual cost for the repair, not a double price. I waited more than a week for a reply and finally they said they can’t do anything. I’ve heard before about cases like this when companies accuse people for making damages to the courtesy cars, but I didn’t expect to have to pay twice the price for such damage. Obviously Solus have a solid contract with Aviva, which gives them lots of work and they don’t care about the experience of their customers. I am extremely disappointed with Solus, I paid my bill for the damage of the courtesy car, because I am an honest person and I will take my responsibility. But I want to protect more people and worn them about the company who is taking advantage of the contracts people sign when taking courtesy cars from them and charging them double rates and treating them badly.

Had extensive damage to the body of my car - a Honda Civic due to vandalism, which went through the insurance (Aviva). The customer service was excellent & I was provided with a courtesy car. Solus literally brought my car 'back to life' & it looked brand new when I got it back, paintwork finish was beautiful, perfect colour match & you would never have believed I had so many body components replaced. I would highly recommend them, even if they are a little tricky to get to location wise.
