Great British Pub with well made food, friendly locals, and nice beer! We had the fish n chips which were made to order. The fish was fresh and crispy along with nice fries! We also had some of the whitebait breaded and fried which were fantastic! Locals from all around frequent this pub - it’s easy to chat with them and hear stories about the area!
Picturesque pub in a picturesque village. The food was tasty but simple, and the playground in the beer garden was very welcome, although limited, so only held the attention for a small time! Parking is limited although close to the national trust property, so the road outside needs to be used also.
Great little country pub. Wonderful beer garden with childrens' playground out back. We stopped by before our visit to Cotswold Lavender. The town of Snowshill is just as quaint and picturesque as any Cotswold village. The town was having a book sale when we were there -- we really enjoyed browsing and buying a few books.
Lovely pub with decent lite bite food options at reasonable prices. Nice cask ales and friendly and helpful staff. Beer garden with children's play area for when the sun shines, or cosy snug for cooler or wetter days.
Lovely pub that is dog friendly. Staff were friendly and polite - the food was as expected pub grub. It gets busy with advance bookings and it is a snug fit on some of the tables. But I would definitely go again! Parking: The pub has a carpark but there is also a free car park 3 mins walk up the road.
A beautiful well kept little village. The Manor House was not open unfortunately but we had a lovely walk around. Definitely worth a visit.
Outdoor are was very pretty with a great play area for the children, an uncovered patio area with tables and parking spaces. Indoors was very comfy with a lot of historic memorabilia adorning the walls. Food was fantastic - we had the steak & ale pie and a seafood platter and would highly recommend both. Local Donnington brewery beers/ales on tap.
Excellent pub serving honest food - very responsibly priced, good service in a great location. I had the Chargrilled Piri Piri Chicken Kebabs, salad and chips £10.75, fantastic value and a plate full
Just passing through and stopped for a quick pint. Very picturesque place with plenty of history.Service: 4/5
A wonderful village pub. Super dog friendly. Large car park. Log fire. Nice, albeit simple, food. Good beer. Lovely people both sides of the bar.
