What a lovely place to go to, there is a little bar area to have drinks & where locals go, a fair sized restaurant area. There is a garden with some heaters, it would be a lovely area in the summer. Dogs are welcome in certain parts, and the garden if it is on a lead. The food is incredible, and the service is really good! The parking is a little limited but, there is some road parking. We had a party of 10 and there was a mixture of food from us all and no one had any complaints.
Delicious food, with an extensive range of options. Service was excellent and very attentive throughout a busy Friday evening. Lovely ambiance too…highly recommend.
not very impressive considering the price, but not bad either. visited on Sunday, 2 course was about £24 and you could just order a main which is £17.5. ordered pork cuz it came out with cracklings but they were too salty and stiff. rack of lamb was better!
The most appalling meal I have ever had. From arrival it took half an hour to be served drinks. An hour and 15 minutes from arrival our food arrived. Frankly I wish it hadn't. My children's fish and chips was essentially overcooked batter with the thinnest strip of cod I've ever seen. My children grimaced at the taste and did not finish their meal. My burger was dry and uninspiring. My brother's curry had rice so undercooked having tasted it it you would think you were eating rubber pellets off a 4g football pitch. My wife's pie crust was so hard she ate less than half of it before giving up. All in all it was a terrible dining experience and I certainly won't be returning.
Food was excellent. We had a party of 7, with various ages, requirements and tastes. All catered for. Service was good, though there did seem to be a lack of warmth from the waitress, maybe it was because they were busy, being a Saturday night. The music, though quiet, was probably unnecessary, however the speed of delivery and taste of the food, made up for any shortfalls.
One of the best dinners we ever had for a long time! Everything we tried was remarkably tasty and elegant at the same time. The portions were large. The staff and service was excellent and the atmosphere pleasant and calming. Pet friendly as well.
Went here for Sunday lunch, and it's lovely. Really nice food and good portion sizes. It's busy on a Sunday here, but that didn't affect the service at all. There is a lovely outdoor space for the summer months too. We'll certainly be coming back again!!
Been here a couple of times. Always very good. This time with friends for lunch on New Year's eve, everyone enjoyed it, good menu, food well cooked, good service at a fair price. Will be back again when in the area.Food: 5/5
Was going to start by saying what an excellent example of a Gastropub this is, but then thinking of the decor it's not really a pub, so I think they have it exactly right calling it a Brasserie. Staff were efficient and friendly, and I have never known such complex food to arrive at the table so quickly. A wide menu choice ranging from sandwiches to wraps up to a full three course with great choices. My wife had Belly Pork and I had a lovely seafood platter followed by Ice Cream. With a couple of glasses of wine the bill was just over £50 plus service which I consider great value. They deserve your support.
A really comfortable eaterie. Perfect for a first or second date! Attentive staff, great food and atmosphere. Not cheap, but quality is remembered long after price is forgotten.Food: 4/5
