A good venue for conferences. Food was predictable but well cooked and served. Vegetarian options were not so good. Accommodation mixed. Some hotel standard and some not!

I came here with my mum and her old school mates. Some of the teachers that taught my mum were Sisters from Sneaton Castle Priory so this was a reunion. My mum hadn't seen them in about 45 years, so this was really amazing to experience the joy, and listen to the stories they told. We stayed in Middlesbrough, but there is actually accomodation at there as well a large hall good for conferences and a smaller one that's best for a workshop. We come for service on Sunday in the small and immaculate chapel. The service was short and sweet and it was a nice surprise that the vicar closed the service with music from his banjo! All together a wonderful two days and I really hope to go back soon!

Sneaton Castle is in a wonderful position. Accommodation that we stayed in was basic. The food is delicious and served in large helpings by very helpful staff.

Sneaton castle center is an understated and unassuming place that provides a first rate, warm and relaxing place to stay. The food was fresh, high quality and really tasty local produce. The walled garden is a lovely, peaceful place to relax and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I would recommend sneaton as a lovely place to base your holiday in Whitby.

Just wonderful, hotel standard accommodation at Bed & Breakfast prices, room spotless, beds comfy, shower hot and Reception helpfully telephoned restaurant and taxi when we arrived. Enclosed area for children. Perfect cycling venue with huge breakfast, excellent range of details and healthy fruit and close to Route 1 termination at Whitby. Will stay again!
