Hotel is very nice, location is fantastic been right next to the beach.nThe beer I had I wasn’t up to much, no head on it and quite flat.nThe two windows in the restaurant were full if flies , tried to open the windows to let them out but they were locked.nWe ate in the restaurant for tea , me and my wife both had the Chicken Tikka Masala, it tasted very synthetic, the sauce was definitely out of a jar, the poppadums were chewy.nBreakfast was better, I had the full English.nThe staff were efficient and attentive.nWe will definitely stay again but won’t eat there apart from breakfast.
We spent one night with my 2 teenage boys for the bank holiday weekend. The hotel is spotless, room was ready by the time they said;was smaller room but just perfect for one night! We could've spent more days there easily! Also, you can upgrade if you want an extra space-just ask them! The hotel is right at the seaside, literally one road away. Also, few metres from takeaways and restaurants, too but far enough-still close though - from the busy clubs and pubs. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, i had a request and they accommodated without hesitation! My price included the breakfast which was plenty and tasty. They have a bar, good menu, offers and room service but kids wanted to eat out so we have not tried their food yet. Would I recommend this hotel if you go to Redcar? Definitely! Thank you for having us!
What a great find this was.... 10mins from my work location and right on the beach, amazing. Booking in was easy and friendly. The room was immaculately clean and in the current heatwave, air-conditioning now that was a unexpected surprise.nnThe food again was a shocker as in these type of small hotels its always a gamble but the food was freshly cooked, served hot, well presented and very tasty.nnThe staff I've have met are friendly and helpful.nnThe location is amazing, whilst the town is what you would expect the beach area is clean and tidy, nice place to walk off that delicious meal.
Just had 3 nights here. The hotel is what I would describe as old fashioned but, for me, this added to the charm. I did note signs asking guests to 'bear with the mess while they renovated' but there was no mess at all! They were doing this without causing any disruption at all. The rooms were comfortable with all you need, the breakfast is AMAZING, location. Is great, but most of all the staff couldn't do enough for you. So helpful, nothing is a problem for them and they made the stay great. Would absolutely go back and definitely recommend.
Stayed for 2 nights, were upgraded to a Kingsize deluxe ground floor room, as I had a problem with the stairs.nA very pleasant stay room large & comfortable. Breakfast generous. Service overall was excellent.Staff friendly & helpful. Wifi good too.nLocation, easy for seafront & town. Highly recommended. Would choose this hotel again.
