We went out of season so it's hard to give a thorough review. The music venues were all closed and the boat trips weren't running, and only one gallery was open.nHowever, the retail outlets, the gallery that was open and the coffee shop were all excellent. The Home and Living shop was full of lovely homewards and furniture, and the two delicatessans had some lovely food in them. Parking was easy, though quite full, so it must be trickier at busier times of the year. The coffee and walnut cake in the cafe was sublime!! The staff were all welcoming and very friendly. We wanted to charge our car and saw that there were charging points, but you needed your own cable, some charged elsewhere.nA great place to visit, highly recommended.
Beautiful location. The nature reserve nearby is stunning in the sunshine. The food offered is great quality, albeit a little pricey. The pub is fantastic. The statues are intriguing. One of my favourite places in Suffolk!
Didn't stay here so won't comment on rooms. Nice place to visit lots of shops to explore. Boat trips available. Free parking. There is a theatre and gallery. Also good walks for the dog across the conservation sites.
This was an amazing place, could have spent a few hours here. Lovely location, lots of food and interesting shops to look around, plus an amazing theatre as well. Will be going back for sure, b to spend a little more time just munching around.
I really run out of superlatives...this is one of the countries greatest music venues. As well as holiday apartments, a superb deli, a great restaurant, an gorgeous antique shop as well as several craft shops and galleries. Then there are the farmers markets and food festivals.nThere are boat tours from the quay and enjoyable walk start here too.nWe love it here.
