Went to Smooth Bear for a leg wax, my first time after a bad experience a few years before. Alison totally put me at ease, the setting is lovely and relaxing too. Alison uses a high quality wax and is clearly very skilled at what she does. It wasn't painful and my legs felt lovely and smooth after. They remained that way for around 5 weeks when I was ready to go back. I won't go anywhere else! Highly recommended.

I had a really bad experience a couple of years ago with a 'professional' using strip wax on me! Alison assured me that hotwax although not pain free was much more tolerable, I have a really low pain threshold so this was a big leap of faith for me! I've now been 5 times and love not having to shave for 4-5 weeks at a time!.... After the first session it becomes more and more pleasant. Surroundings are very relaxing and professional and I always feel very well looked after and relaxed when she is done. Thank you and see you again in 4 weeks! X

It was my first time body waxing so as you can imagine i was very apprehensive. Alison was very welcoming and her professional approach made the whole experience relaxing. Her facilities are pleasant, hygienic and provided the privacy I was looking for.
