Recently attended with my young son for their well planned out Halloween party kids version. My son had such a great time he asked when the next party would be. Nicely decorated and welcoming which always makes such a difference. The process of booking tickets was straight forward and the service was first class. It’s nice to receive great service with a smile. I will definitely be back but next time for cocktails. Thank you to Aileenassistant manager as it was her own personal social media account that encouraged me to have a look at the place & thank you to the rest of the team for making my sons morning awesome
Went for lunch today good pub grub service a bit slow staff very nice small fish was a pensioner fish someone with me had they have also got normal fish and chips lasagna was ok good value

Took mum for lunch today was a nice afternoon out for us and love how we are able to bring the dog with us. Always friendly staff there to make a fuss of him and plenty of treats on hand. Amazing food topped off with a nice slab of fudge cake ...
We have now visited the 'Smiddy Inn' several times over the last few months and it has fast become one of our favourite places to go. They are welcoming to everyone in particular our wee dog Emma - they have dog treats, blankets and water bowls. Emma even can order her dinner chicken breast £1 - she loves it! The staff are so friendly and helpful, the menu great steak pie a must and a great overall atmosphere. Well done 'Smiddy Inn' - we'll be back very soon.
Really nice atmosphere in this pub. The barmaids were really genuine and seemed to enjoy there job. Food was great quality and value. We will defo be back

Food is usually good. Service can be a bit hit or miss. Never seems to have enough staff when we're in
I was here on Christmas day 2022 and had a lovely dinner, staff were so lovely and the strawberry gins were delicious definitely recommend
