Thank you for altering my daughters jacket very last minute. The staff couldn't of been more helpful and even when I needed it earlier than requested they went out of their way to get it done. Top class alterations the jacket looks amazing and top class service . I will definitely use again and would recommend to others.
I love smart city talors. They are professional and timely. They were able to alter my wedding dress and bridal dress. Alterations without added fabric. They are kind, and call you by your name. They are quick to answer the phone and and make efforts to book you an immediate appointment without the fuss of trying to book online. Highly recommended. Facilities are clean and quiet part of town.
Esa and the team were amazing at altering our daughters wedding dress. There were a lot of layers to it and we thought we may need 2 or 3 visits but it was all done in 1 visit. It fitted perfectly. Would highly recommend this business to anyone.
Since moving to the area, this is my regular tailors now for mostly lengthening adjustments. The team are super lovely and very patient/accommodating with my requests and awkward garments and I have a lot of questions every time! I want to say thank you to every individual team member here, they have all had hands on my items during fitting and are very friendly with me also. reassuring when you have a few items and fear causing a queue A mention particularly of the young woman that works there - I think Tan, as she’s extremely helpful and knowledgeable of trends and the look I’m after when I take my items for tailoring, and often need her opinion! And Esa, Aysha & Amin for each helping me individually! I’ve had mostly shortening of my trousers and they’ve been very good quality! Their turnaround is fast, and for city centre the prices are reasonable. Thanks guys!
Extremely disappointing. After bringing in a favourite silk dress for cleaning ahead of attending a wedding the following week, I collected the item to find patchy colour fading and ink runs. Nobody mentioned this or apologised on collection and on bringing the dress back in the blame was placed on me. I was questioned as to whether the dress was already like this, they demanded photographic evidence of the item prior to cleaning and made me feel like a fraud, as though I was trying to cheat them out of money. There was little in the way of an apology, just excuses, and no offer of any compensation or even a refund for the cleaning until I specifically asked for this. Extremely disappointing, I will not be coming back and would advise anyone getting items cleaned here to take detailed photographs beforehand.
I am a complete convert to getting clothes altered and really happy with the SCT service. For the standard of work and the difference it make to the fit of off the peg clothes it is fabulous value. I have had at least three jackets and several pairs of trousers altered by SCT. In each case the service has been friendly and efficient and to a really high standard. Top shop that deserves support.
This guys work absolute magic. I have taken so many things in to be altered and they always make everything fit like a glove. I even took in a suitcase with a broken zip and asked them to try to fix it, and said if they couldn’t it wasn’t a problem, as I just wanted to check before getting rid of it. Well, they managed to fix my suitcase! Couldn’t recommend them more.
This will be my third time using smart city tailors and I would highly recommend! I had a few designer items taken in and was a bit apprehensive at first but they did a great job! Quick turn around too :
Top spot for dry-cleaning in town. Quick turnaround, friendly and helpful staff. Also handy for repairs and alterations. I’ve been a regular since I moved to the area and would certainly recommend them.
A reliable and friendly place. Excellent dry cleaning services and alterations. Did a bang-up repair job on my wife’s coat. Wouldn’t consider going anywhere else!
