I can’t recommend this company highly enough. Having never used a removals company before, my husband and I were a little anxious. The office staff were very responsive in handling our queries before the move and put our mind at ease regarding issues such as parking and the removal of a large chandelier we have.
When the crew arrived on the day, Martyn and his team were very polite and smartly dressed, addressing the issues discussed with the office staff and again putting our mind at ease. The chandelier was brought down, carefully and wrapped and packed professionally. We also have a large oak bed which was dismantled and reassembled with ease.
Another concern of mine was being allowed enough time to clean the house before the buyers arrived. The crew worked with me so I could clean room by room, the carpets were protected and remained clean despite the bad weather.
Overall, we are very happy with the service and if we were to move again we would definitely choose Sloane Young. Highly recommended.

I used Sloane Young when we relocated our offices. The service and attitude of the staff were first class and the move went as smoothly as we had hoped. The price was also very competitive and having moved offices previously and had a not very good experience it was refreshing to use Sloane Young.

Do not use this company. Lee was charm personified. He was going to do so much more than other companies. His quote was higher than others but he was going to make the move so much easier by emptying the garden in advance whilst sending others in to do the delicate's packing. He was keen for us to talk and said to phone whenever we wanted to.Things then started to change. He sent one person, not two, to pack the day prior to the one arranged. This caused problems to us as we had other things going on that day. Lee then disappeared. He did not clear the garden in advance. He did not respond to calls the day before the move and did not show up or respond to us on the day of the move. He had subbed the job out to another company, completely misleading them as to what was needed. They initially said they would not be able to move us as they did not have enough men or a big enough vehicle. Lee had told them that they could do shuttles as we had the key for the new property already.. I had asked him several times how he was going to work around completion happening no sooner than midday. It took the best part of the first two hours of the day to sort this out. The sub-contractors were brilliant but the job went on into the early evening. Lee made no contact on the day or once we were moved. He did however send a bill for an extra £600 + as the job had gone on for more than 8 hours! He referred to small print and stated that debt collecting agencies would sent if we did not comply within 7 days.
