My lorry broke down and this place was contacted. They said they would attend within 90 minutes but a technician was on the roadside within 30 minutes. He assessed the situation and called for recovery.  This was done within another 30 minutes and my lorry was on this site in just over an hour. Very friendly efficient staff.

Went there for a part for our DAF truck, the staff were all very friendly and helpful and the part we needed was in stock and available for same day collection, the price seemed a little high for a plastic pipe but it is what it is when the part is only available from the manufacturer, but it's okay because I wasn't paying. I'm sure it won't be the last time we need parts from Harris DAF and it's convenient that they are so close.

Nice bunch of people but the yard is always full, very busy.

Cheaper prices compared to other daf dealers

Servicing is never done on time and when I need to know the updates on how the service is going there is never anyone in the office. Website states servicing open from 6am yet no one in. Other departments refuse to check for you.

Don’t leave vehicles here. Make an appointment and then leave your vehicle for ages without any moving. Lost whole working week and still waiting. Said they’re busy, but for what reason you’re making the appointment then

Don't use, poor service and communication. Put a vehicle in for repair last week and after 4 days and over £2000 we got the vehicle back but it was unable to go on the road. We have had to put the vehicle back in again this week and they say it's now going to cost a further £1400 to repair what they should have repaired last week, still not back after 3 days. Not only that but their hourly labour rate last week was £86.50 yet 4 days later its £87.00. Complained yesterday but apart from one call back have heard no mopre since. Also charge an hour's rate for a road test but our vehicle tracker shows that on both occasions it has not been driven on the road only in their yard. Got vehicle back yesterday. They have charged 7 hours labour including a road test. Vehicle did not leave the site as it had been blocked in by another vehicle since Tuesday, also when we spoke to them at 10:30 am they said it had not been touched yet at 5pm it was ready, how is that 7 hours labour? Rip off merchants!

Called and booked an LEZ smoke test a week in advance.  I arrived 45 minutes early so i could ensure everything was ready to go. When i arrived i was told they were closed for lunch and to wait. When the office opened i was then told i had no booking and the chap who took my booking had forgotten to pass this onto the lane booking people. I now have no test and no cert and have wasted over half a day driving back and forth. Luckily a friend had advised me to try Volvo trucks in Brimsdown. They have made me an emergency booking. My advice is to steer clear of Harris at all costs unless you want to be messed about.

Customers Ignored at their reception, takes ages for someone to bother acknowledging you. Too many vehicles crammed in one place, never able to find parking or able to get a vehicle out without having to get 2/3 other vehicles shunted. Avoid

I have a misfortune of working for a company that uses them. Not a single reported issue ever addressed properly. Reoccurring faults happening on the truck. Harris DAF operates like Soviet Union workshop. They work for sake of working not doing actual job.
