On Nov 6, 2022, my wife, our younger daughter and I drove here from St Ives. We skipped two-long stay Marazion Car Parks before arriving at this smaller and more convenient one to walk from the beach to the causeway to St Michael’s Mount.
As car parks go this one is AWESOME. It looks nice with all the wooden fencing and planters. The ability to pay electronically. The wonderful idea of measuring out the car parking spaces and separating them. All of these things make this a great place to park.
Don't park here. Very quick to sting locals 100 quid parking fine. We used the park app and can only assume the payment didn't go through, because we received a fine. We stayed 50 minutes while we grabbed a coffee to support local business. We explained this as an appeal, but Nope happy to sting an elderly person a huge sum they cannot afford over a genuine mistake. This is one local business you shouldn't support!!
The cameras operated by no one have no mercy. By parking here even if you pay you are subscribing to months of debt letters and chasing by car parking management company who will not take into account any appeals until you see them in court. Parking here will cost you £100. Don't feed the pests.
BEWARE car park charges apply all the time. I have been fined for parking 19.15 to 21.48 on 24th February. Car park has no lighting and no clear signs to say charges always apply
WARNING! I paid and received a debt letter 1 month later to fine me £170. No proof, no previous correspondence. I have evidence showing my payment to cover my stay. This is trap and noted that we are not the only one reading reviews. We will report it to trading standard and take legal action!
I actually parked down the road and came over around here for the view of the mount, which is great

Good car park for St Michael's Mount, cashless payment options and near the beach
Definitely one of the sites of Cornwall that must be seen, although we visited on a Saturday and the mount was shut! Stunning views made our trip worthwhile though.
