This is a beautiful little place, hidden away high up in the hills of mid Wales. Wonderfully maintained and carefully looked after with some wonderful touches, the jacuzzi are amazing and the views from the upstairs lounge area is outstanding. We were lucky enough to be able to get here despite the snow, and that only served to add to the charm of the place, returning from a local walk to the warmth of the wood burning stove. Holly and Paul are lovely people and great hosts and we shall return!! Thank you for another great stay, Leisa and Keith.

If you are looking to escape to a beautiful/Middle of no where place then Slate House Lodges is a perfect place for you! To get to this place you have to drive 3 miles of tiny country side roads. Wish I can live here forever!! Highly recommended!

An absolute diamond . A little off the beaten track. But well worth the drive. Lodges finished to a very high standard and a hot tub on the patio !!! The owners are also very friendly and had bread milk and eggs waiting for us. The wood burner also gives a cosy flame and good heat. A lovely place to chill out and relax Some stunning views from the gallery windows. Some lovely small touches like coffee tea sugar coffee maker with filter coffee. Shampoo conditioner and body wash in both showers. Dishwasher tabs. Washing powder Everything you could want to have a great stay. We will be back again . 2nd visit !!

Absolutely fantastic, my wife and I spent a week here in late September to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The lodge was fantastic, the setting was idyllic and the owners of the site were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate for a second to stay here again.
