Home from home, our weekend retreat has vastly exceeded our expectations. A beautiful well maintained family owned site. Fishing bowls golf and great walks around this site make it an ideal getaway.
Having owned a lodge for almost 5 years i thought it was time to write a review and give a big thumbs up for Dolgead and the owners Philip and Anna.nThe site is well maintained and a pleasure to walk around even if the weather isn't so kind because there are plenty of paths and roads around that are perfect on wet days.nI have read a great deal about problem parks and sites that customers have problems with, thankfully you can be reassured that in my opinion Dolgead is the best there is. You can be confident that your purchase of a lodge or caravan will not yield hidden traps or mysterious costs. The annual fees rise on all sites but ours have always been reasonable.nSo my advice is if you're looking for a beautiful escape in idyllic Wales make sure Dolgead is on your list....you won't be disappointed.
If you are looking for a holiday home, either a static caravan or a lodge then take a look at Dolgead Hall’s website. We had made the decision to buy a lodge in Aug 2021 and spent a month looking at various different parks but when we visited Dolgead our search ended, nowhere could compare to this beautifully kept park. The owners Anna & Phillip are very friendly and helpful and there is plenty to do, golf, fishing, bowls, tennis, games room, extensive library and a laundrette! The river Banwy is beautiful as is the surrounding countryside. We are looking forward to many more years here spent with the friends we have made
The nicest place to visit or stay. If you want to play tennis, bowls or golf it's all here, park for the children and games room. Beautiful walks by the river, I can't recommend it enough
Beautifully kept sight, which is usually very quiet. Everything is of a high standard and everyone is friendly. Good facilities including, golf and fishing.
