Absolutely beautiful shop. The loveliest man and woman working there too. Easily my favourite gift shop on the Isle of Skye so far. The handmade soaps that they sell are amazing!! Great selection of things to buy and the prices are fab!
We visited Cuillin Crafts in Portree during a holiday on Skye last November, we were impressed by the quality of the items available and made several purchases. The staff were lovely. Fast Forward to April 2022 and, having returned home to Cornwall, I clumsily broke one of a matched pair of Burns crystal dram glasses. I contacted Cuillin Crafts by messenger and was delighted with the friendly, helpful response from Dorothy. She arranged for the very prompt delivery of a replacement glass which, having travelled the length of Scotland and England, arrived safely due to the excellent packaging. Thank you so much, we hope to visit you again sometime in the future when we next venue north to the beautiful Isle of Skye.
Many thanks to Dorothy! Several years ago I purchased a necklace that had been a staple in what I wore. It was my favorite and reminded me of Scotland. I lost it however. After much searching to retrace which shop I purchased it from I emailed Dorothy. I had a receipt and a memory of visiting her shop. She was able to find my same necklace style and I was able to purchase a replacement! She was quick to reply and international shipping was fast! I so appreciate the time she took to make me happy. Tapadh leat!!
Good items for sale but owners/workers stared and stalked us the entire time. Maybe it was because we had our 6 year old extremely well behaved daughter with us. Seriously, we couldn't touch anything without them having a heart attack. Like I said, good items, but very uncomfortable shopping experience.

The lady and gentleman that own the shop have very clearly had enough of tourists and their attitude towards anyone entering their shop is downright rude.
