I took my leather jacket here and when I received it back I was shocked. Had the jacket been taken up to the length I actually wanted it at, the jacket would be completely ruined and beyond repair. The zip is uneven, the right side of the jacket is 1cm longer than the left side. The bottom of the jacket was shortened and cut terribly, it is wavy and zig zagged in places and the stitching is generally all over the place. The worst part is where the stitching stops and then starts again 2 inches on leaving a gap where you can almost put your hand inside the jacket between the lining. I'm not one for complaining normally, but this isn't acceptable. Luckily the jacket is fixable and I was refunded which should cover the cost of repair. The jacket is worth £335, had I paid full price which I nearly done some years ago I would have lost nearly £400.

First class service. Many years ago the same guy had made a suede and leather suit for me. i know- it was the 80s, and it was a lovely suit honestly Anyway got a leather jacket altered, did the alteration exactly as I had requested, with a great price and quick service. Would definitely recommend.
Since the early Eighties have used Skint to have my suits made, a great bunch of people, in the day, and will be going back in after my tour is finished to have a suit made. Excellent.Service: Design
Had new patches and old one fixed that was done previously from other alteration that was not positions properly. Skint fixed this and done a great job on my new patches going back for more patchwork to be done. 5 Star all round Very highly recommend.
Very good value for money. I went in with 4 pairs of trousers and a pair of jeans thinking it was going to take ages to get measured up but it didn't take long at all. I'll definitely be going back again when I'm shopping in town.
I have using skint for years and years . I am always please with my alterations. Good service and I will not go anywhere else.
