A friend recommended we come here for steaks as he had a great experience recently. We had a rump and a sirloin, both washed down with a wheat beer and a local beer. We were not disappointed. Food was excellent, seasonal veg was delicious. Steaks brilliant. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend. Menu caters for all but can only comment on the steaks we had. Will definitely be back. Thank you Skiing Doo.
Cute little place, nice selection of meals. Great portion sizes too. We hadn't booked, but were the last table of walk ins allowed, so they were fully booked on a Monday night. Staff were pleasant and food came out quickly and piping hot.

Had the haggis, neeps & tatties and was very disappointed. The potato and turnip mash was pretty tasteless and watery, the haggis was lukewarm - colder than the mash. Service was pleasant waitress was filling in as short staffed so didn't know a lot but pleasant nonetheless
The bar is dog-friendly and atmospheric and the service is kind and accommodating. There also were wonderful options for meat-eaters and vegetarians/vegans! Food tasted lovely!
As ever the Skiing Doo meets expectations. Does what it says on the tin. Birthday steak, red wine and Belgian waffles tonight. Great service. Great atmosphere. Please don’t ever change. You are as much apart of the history of the village as the hills themselves.

Went for a steak with friends. Really impressed with the meal. Steaks done perfectly. Nice chips and onion rings too. Chicken wings and nachos to start were really good. Good service. Would definitely go back.
