What a lovely hotel. My first Time in aviemore and this hotel was outstanding. Very traditional highland decor which I loved. Great clean room and a good size. Ate in the restaurant on the sat night and food and staff were great. Sunday night we came back to the bar and they had a singer on. Fantastic, busy and it had a great atmosphere. Breakfast was great too. Great value for money. Will definitely be back.
Had a meal about 2:30pm. Had to wait 30 minutes for a table. Waited in bar. Given a device to let us know when table was ready. After flashing lights and vibration from the device we were shown to table. Menu catered for everyone. Food arrived in timely fashion. I had Fish and Chips was very tasty. Better half had Soup and Sandwich. Soup could have been warmer but was tasty. Reasonably priced for location. Would come again
Absolutely lovely meal 2 roast beef, 1 roast turkey, 1 macaroni cheese and everyone was delighted with their meals. The beef in particular was spectacular. Service was great, no long waiting times. Then desert was equally delicious I especially have to praise the sticky toffee pudding. Everything was good sized portions Nothing to fault at all
The most incredible food, out of 6 starters and 6 mains every dish was amazing. Lovely and helpful staff, it’s amazing to see a business that can retain local staff as well! Can’t believe they don’t have a Michelin star, would come back to aviemore just to have another venison!
Dropped in here after Christmas shopping in aviemore. Had a lovely early evening meal. Service really friendly and quick, and couldn't have been more accommodating of two of our party's dietary restrictions. We will definitely be back, and will be recommending to all our friends. 10 out of 10.Service: 5/5
Although i have never stayed here, I have been a customer several times in the restaurant and been a patron at the public bar. The food is first class. Alot, if not all ingredients are sourced as locally as possible. Even the haggis is caught from the local hills. Service has always been faultless. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Would be more than five stars if it were possible Food & drinks: If like a bit of spice in your life, the cajun chicken burger is delicious. The chick n dip is a family favourite. No one ever complains about being hungry after dinner or lunch here.
Very cute bar and restaurant on the high street of Aviemore. It’s also a hotel . The restaurant serves food all day . The soup of the day was lentil soup and it was excellent The sandwiches were excellent too. The bar has a great collection of whiskeys and gin . So if you are in Aviemore do drop in for a drink and a quick bite Highly recommend it !!
Great wholesome food at decent prices. Staff are friendly and helpful. Portions are great. Left well fed and perfectly happy. Will be back next time I in the area.Service: 4/5
My husband and I had an impromptu meal here. I would totally recommend this hotel for food to anyone visiting the area. The staff were all really polite and friendly which is a joy these days!! The scallops which we both had were amazing!!!Service: 5/5
Had a late lunch there yesterday. The Haggis lasagna was fantastic! Dessert was sticky toffee pudding, highly recommend! Very very friendly service as well.
