Absolutely stunning experience! All the relevant documents have been exchanged in advance so the pick up process took me 3 minutes. Car appeared to be brand new. Return process was absolutely easy and quick as well. Staff was very friendly and competent.
We walked the West Highland Way earlier this year and wanted to do some sightseeing afterwards. As one arrives into Ft William later in the day and in our case on a Sunday there weren't many options to hire a car rental. I was concerned at the low ratings Easydrive had received on Google. I must say we had a very good experience. In fact Leah from Easydrive took great care of us and arranged for a an off hours pick up and personally met us Sunday afternoon get us our car.
Amazing company - could not do more to help. Have used them twice for holiday rentals in the last 3 years. Great communication at all times, pleasant and helpful during enquiries, booking, handover and beyond. Great cars both times. Would definitely use again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Easydrive were great! We originally booked our hire car last year but had to rearrange last minute as in on the day! but they were very understanding and rescheduled our booking to this year without any extra fee. They also drove our car to us in Edinburgh and it was great fun to drive! Professional friendly service. We will definitely use EasyDrive again.

Delivery to Fort William train station was perfect, you cannot miss the staff there. They do mention that it's meet&greet only and you get a list of the damages by email. We had no issues with the car or the return, you can just drop the keys at the ticket counter. A litte more expensive than other options and the online booking is a bit confusing, but overall a good experience.
The Easydrive experience was brilliant. We were met at the railway station by a staff member, papers ready to sign and car in the car park. Incredibly straightforward. And when we left a wallet in the car on return, the team posted it down immediately. I can't recommend them enough.
Generally good experience, but somewhat marred by the attitude if the woman on the front-desk in handling a problem we had with the car - she was pretty unfriendly and dismissive, and essentially said 'you can either live with it, or have a full refund', which isn't very helpful when you're sat there with two kids and all your holiday luggage. In fairness, we _did_ end up getting a reasonable refund as a result of the problem, though, and the other two younger members of staff were extremely friendly and professional. Aside from the problem mentioned above, the car itself was fine - clean, modern and worked well. As mentioned in other reviews which I wish I'd read beforehand, the handover damage check on collection was non-existent. I asked about it at the time, and was told 'oh, you'll get sent a form later' we were subsequently emailed a document showing the company's own assessment of existing damage to the vehicle. If any post-hire charges are levied I will update the review. Suggest taking lots of pictures of the vehicle both pre and post-hire. Also as with most car hire companies, be sure to refuel the car yourself before drop-off, to avoid being charged an exorbitant rate for the hire company to do it for you. Worth noting that they offer pick up and drop off at Fort William Station for drop off you can just hand the keys in at the station, where there are also good luggage storage lockers, which is well worth using if you're travelling by train, as the main office is a couple of miles away. _Update_ We weren't charged for any damage to the car correctly, as there was none, but I was worried after reading other reviews and we got a very fair partial refund for the issues we'd had on the first day. So aside from attitude of one member of staff, the overall experience was very positive.
Can’t recommend highly enough. So accommodating when our travel plans went haywire due to train cancellations. Lovely, friendly welcome when we finally got there. Really was an Easy Drive!
Overall terrible car hire experience. The key handover and pre-rental damage check at Fort William train station was so cursory as to be unprofessional. It left me feeling open to an extra charge, which is exactly what happened. I can see this is pretty standard practice along with many of the other reviews here. Halfway to Skye, I got a tyre pressure warning, and I had to fill it up twice during my trip. I was later told that I should have called and someone would have arranged to 'meet me somewhere to exchange the car.' Overlooking this inconvenience, I returned the car after my trip only to be called the next day and informed of an £80 charge for a chip in the windscreen. This charge was then processed without me even receiving a photo of the purported damage. After back and forth correspondence on email and phone, I was left feeling extremely disappointed in the company and customer service. I'll leave it there. Stay away if you can.
