Looks amazing even though the customer service was cold. Wanted a day pass and they just said a bold No to my face. I had thought they’d have such in a place like any other modern gym, especially for those who only intend to use the Gym once [tourists] and wouldn’t keep up to a monthly one.
- The cleanliness of the sixmile leisure centre is exceptionally, particularly the fitness equipment. - Very friendly and helpful staff. - Investment in modern gym equipment. - Good range of fitness classes available at varying times.
We love going swimming here. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. The changing areas provide disabled facilities aswell as parent changing facilities. There is a baby pool that would be suited for babies and toddlers water comes just above your ankle. The main pool has a lazy part and pulls you with the wave which is really relaxing. There is a slide too which the kids love but just be my mindful and check timings as slide closes at certain periods of time.
Pleasant staff, seems clean enough too. All good from me. Just make sure you leave any valuables in the car.
I am very fortunate to have the SixMile Leisure centre on my doorstep. I am a member and I use it regularly for the gym and for the swimming pool with my children. I have a 9 year old autistic boy and the staff are always so attentive. They go out of their way to make sure he get what he needs. There is a disability friendly bathroom beside the pool which is ideal for his more complex needs. The pool is also family friendly with a moderate depth througout. There is also a slide and lazy river available at family sessions. The gym is excellent following a refurb. It is large with modern equipment. These can be programmed to your specific fitness requirements.

Staff are friendly and helpful; most of the time. You always get one that's had an off day lol. The centre is very well equipped. I use it primarily for its spin classes, which are more than your normal spin as they have a new system which is more structured and focused on power. Hard to get into as they're so popular.
As a new member I found the online joining process easy and booking a session very user friendly. Having just spent my first hour in the Fitness Suite I'm so pleased I joined! The equipment is in very good condition, the area is clean as well as spacious. Everyone was wiping down the apparatus after use and the whole vibe was friendly and welcoming. The staff were attentive and helpful. Can't wait to go back
Ross the lifeguard was amazing today gave my nephew pointers. He was swimming in no time.
It has been good to be able to get back to the leisure center after this period of uncertainty with CV19. Staff, as always are excellent and very happy to help. Spin and the Gym being my preferred choices in the Centre. since the upgrade in spin bikes, its simply got better, more competitive, and that always good. Cannot recommend highly enough. Terry Dalzell
