Understable through covid service is going to be slow, but the staff seemed gormless. People moving tables constantly socialising with other tables. Food below standard compared to usual visits
The six chimneys is just a two minute stroll down from the Cathedral. I visited with a couple of friends for a lunchtime drink shortly after the New Year break. As usual we found a good selection of beers at a decent price. The Ruddles beer was in excellent condition and the bar staff are friendly and efficient.
Service is average, foods decent ,altogether its not a bad pub
Cracking place, cheap food and drinks can't go wrong
I love working here, lovely staff, loved going in before I became bar staff, get on with a lot of regulars
Seems well organised. Book in with track and trace when you arrive, then ordered food on the app with the eat out to help out scheme. Ordered a mix grill and wasn't disappointed. Staff and management really friendly.
I enjoy this pub whenever in Wakefield, it's honest, friendly and a kind of raw friendly! Fantastic value on both food and drinks. Good place to just pop in.
Good service, friendly staff but could do with updating. Some much better looking Witherspoon's about and the local competition have all had fresh decor in recent years.
