Simply Indian has been established for over 14 years and is a B.Y.O. casual dining restaurant. With only 28 covers we are an intimate restaurant. Many describe us as a hidden gem in the heart of London. We are located close to Borough station, famous Borough market and close to London Bridge.

Delicious, well flavoured food with a good range of vegetarian options.  I ordered takeaway and received large portions and even some free dhal, which was a lovely surprise.  Highly recommended.

Lovely little restaurant where the waiters are friendly and eager to please. We ordered a thali which was lovely and the and the fact you bring you own alcohol just makes it even better

The food was good but the service was somewhat slow and disorganised. I went as a group of six with two vegans and there were some communication breakdown on our order either due to not knowing what vegan is or communication on the dishes. I would go back as my food was good.

Abu, the owner, is super friendly and has a genuine love for his restaurant and customers. The menu is creative and pairs fantastic flavours. Every dish we ordered we would order again. Caters well to vegans.

Nice to eat while chatting

I’ve wanted to go to this restaurant for ages and it did not disappoint! The food is a cut above. Wonderfully spiced South Indian food. I had probably one of the best spinach dishes I’ve ever had and my fellow diner’s kerlan sea bass was quite special. Delicately balanced dishes made with freshly prepared ingredients. A real treat.

Amazing little place, great food and friendly staff. One of the best Indian restaurants I ever tried.

Cozy and the staff was very kind. The food was outstanding. Great music as well.
