Overpriced, but a convention location if desperate. Most essentials available, though inflated prices can be offputting. Variety of products is reasonable.
The shop is brilliant. It's like a mini tescos on campus. The selection of groceries is amazing, ranging from fresh fruits to everyday household items. Even has its own under armour corner.
Decent store to go to if you need to get something quickly. However, I really don't like how it closes before closure time and not after. Should just change the times to closing at 9:30pm not 10pm
Rude staff, expensive prices, very poor selection and lies online about opening times. Overall avoid unless absolutely desperate. Shocking reputation
You know it's bad when a shop raises the prices for a place with many people that are already struggling to pay for everything... But it's sadly what usually happens at unis. There is almost nothing good about this shop, the food is bad and has made me ill many times before as well as being really basic and bland and they sometimes have things still on sale after their expiry. So it's pretty much like a shop at an airport or a train station... But even worse in quality. There is some reason I am so pressed about all this though and that is because I have been around other universities and, although the prices are still high, the food I've had has been at least edible. Extra star because it has a post office and imported foods.
Very happy to see bananas at the top of the quick lookup on the self service checkout, this saves me time as I buy a lot of bananas. However the bananas cost 40p which is unfortunate as I buy a lot of bananas.
Convenient for students. Good for getting the essentials or a quick lunchtime snack. However, the main problem is the price. It is massively over priced for a student shop. Better off going to tesco if you have the time.
Excellent variety of world foods available, although at a rather steep price point. Food quality isn't the best, but convenience and proximity to many frequented buildings on campus makes up for it. Recommended only to use for last-minute shopping requirements. For weekly shop, go to the Tesco superstore nearby instead.
Very good maybe open a bit more would be good but has ice tea etc and frozen stuff and fresh everything you need staff are okay too
One of the best on-campus shops you'll ever find. Sure, prices aren't the same as Aldi but, for convenience and saving time, it's hard to beat this place. Next to a pleasant university bookshop and souvenir store, and right underneath the wonderful library.
