I have been going to Silvios for 40 years for the best backbone Ray in Dublin. A family chipper, pleasant and polite and friendly. Cannot recommend highly enough Food: 5/5

I ordered from here last night 3.50 for delivery and I literally live around the corner. I order 7 tenders on my email receipt it says 7 tenders. The receipt on the bag says 6 tenders and I indeed did only get 6 tenders. Jumbo battered sausage when in fact its just a normal size battered sausage. I ask for salt and vinegar only to get salt. Chips were good but nothing you can't get from any other chipper.

"specials" terrible value which include small chips. Really slow getting the food out, the staff women can openly have little breakdowns behind the counter and cause a scene. Crazy expensive, and if you order on just eat you need to remortgage the house. Massive delivery fee too, it's 4 euro for a less than 60 second drive. Food has its good days sometimes though.

Ordered a meal which was advertised as €9.20 then when I went to pay they wanted €13.90 Price gouging is what that’s called. How can a burger & chips meal be €13.90. Daylight robbery! Check out the photos of the menus attached as part of your website. 1/2 pounder burger meal is €9.20 as I said to you in the shop. I’m not making things up for the sake of an argument. I think €13.90 is absolute robbery for a burger and chips meal

Best chipper in Dublin, every time 100%. Always friendly, food is always the same great standard. Papa Silvio would be very proud of how the chipper has continued to excel

I went to this takeaway last week after watching a film in dundrum with a friend of mine. I ordered chicken nugget kebab and chips. The kebab was nice with very tasty sauce in it. Chips were fresh. The only thing I didn't like was too much cabbage in the kebab. Staff is polite and quick. Would recommend.

Lovely staff,u get loads of chip's with your meal and food is mostly good

I have had a few issues with this chipper and have fobbed it off but after my recent encounter I will not stay quiet.... firstly prices displayed not reflecting actual price and not updated then orders arriving completely wrong and now rude woman who owns silvios. I arrived to collect an order I had paid for online and on entering the chipper I was met with a rude attitude by thus owner. I will not be returning to be met by this awful manner again

Had a fresh cod and chips and the fish didn't taste good. The batter was soggy, and tasted like uncooked dough dipped in the oil.  We had two portions and both of them were equally bad. Chips were average. Do not recommend.

I love Silvio's Nutgrove. They always have beautifully fresh cooked food, with a huge menu to choose from. Great offers too. A fantastic family  run business in the heart of Nutgrove, long may it continue.  Wishing them decades more success with their business.
