This is so far for the worst indian food I had in dublin .. never ever try this restaurant . TBH .. no taste no flavour . Even the bread was not good .. the prawn mango masala was smelly all the way.. the lamb achari was just spicy like hot and nothing tangy or tasty .. even an Indian can't handle this hot and spicy food .. when I asked for a bit a spicy food . My only suggestion is to people is to stay away from this restaurant.. In my entire life I haven't written such bad reviews to any such restaurants .. hope I don't write any more like this .. The worst part is that in the morning I had food poisoning too and sick #Dublin #BombayPantry #Ireland #StayAway Better stay away from this restaurant just 1 star
Ordered a food worth €35 went to collect and got back home to find out the Saag Panner dish is jus horrible. they jus basically cooked some cottage cheese in curry sauce and sprinkle some raw spinach on top of it. spinach was not cooked at all and was even cold mean it was just thrown into dish straight from freezer. when i rang back the person on phone said he will send me new prepared dish. only after waiting for 10-15 mins he rang us back saying they can issue refund as they can’t send us properly prepared dish. obviously this had ruined our dinner for eve as now we have to order food somewhere else. Also the person over the phone seemed like he didn’t care much when i told him i’m a long standing customer and have been ordering food for over 10 years. Told him i won’t be ordering any food from their premises anymore and he was like fine. didn’t even put a small bit of effort to retain old customer, like they don’t care. i hope someone from management see this and sort out the shop as it’s really disappointing.
I've ordered from here for many years. The food *used* to be really tasty but delivery times were extremely long. Recently, the delivery times have been reduced which is good but the quality of the food is dreadful and prices are honestly absurd. Hopefully they can turn it around and make some changes because this restaurant used to make some really tasty food. Talked to a few people locally who have had similar experiences with a decrease in food quality, very disappointing!
Have been ordering from Bombay for many years sadly over the past year I have watched te prices go up and up and the quality of the food drop. Last nights order will be the last, sauces watery and chicken was dry, kofta difficult to eat also. Very dissapoitung and very over priced. Vegetarian options: Very bad kofta stringy and spices were unpalatable
I ordered food from Deliveroo and it was fantastic! The food arrived hot and fresh, and the packaging was neat and sturdy. I was really impressed with the quality of the food and the efficient delivery service. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for delicious Indian food to enjoy at home.
Ordered at 19.35pm. Order arrived at almost 10pm. Food was just about warm. Food was nothing to write home about, very bland. This company should have told us they had delivery problems so we could have the option of collection. Instead they said they were running 15 mins late . Ordered as a celebration meal which was ruined. Massive disappointment
Has to be the worst Indian I've ever had cost 45 euros for me and my wife. tried it because our local Indian was closed. we got a butter chicken and chicken tikka masala and nan bread both currys where so bland we couldn't tell the difference. never again would I order from here.
Great place for a family party or event . Usually order for myself every Friday and never disappointed. Some new manager there and thanked me for my loyalty which was a breath of fresh air. A Pranub Sharma.
Consistently excellent Indian food. Great naan bread, and good vegan options but bring back Chana masala and andjuna tarkala curry. Good quality chicken, lamb and prawns. Staff are friendly and professional.
It is with a heavy heart that I give a one star review. Haven’t been to this Bombay Pantry in a while, but the meal from last night was as poor a takeaway I’ve got in a long time. The sauce for the butter chicken was tasteless, just bland and the actual chicken was just tough. I can not ever recall ever getting tough chicken ever, from any restaurant/takeaway. Had to pick through, eat the rice and throw the rest of the meal out. Starter was ok, Nan bread huge, supposed to be garlic, but it wasn’t garlicky enough for my taste. For me, they’ll really have to pick up their efforts, or it will be tough to see how they keep repeat customers. I have to say I loved their butter chicken previously, but last night was a very poor effort.
