Lovely stock of birds for good homes at reasonable prices. Theres a few pictures of my visit.

Been here 4 times no sort of talking ask about a parrot he looked at me with no answer I asked again and nothing treated me like I wouldn't there ee brought a few birds from here so I know what I'm saying won't do back here again

Really good place for all birds and advise friendly staff

Whilst visiting a well-known department store with a view to buying a bird, I met 3 other customers that told me to go to Sign Of The Owl. They said that I would probably find a good bird there and for a better price! Also, they would answer any questions I might have and they always put the welfare of the birds first. This was backed up by the department assistant... off the record! They weren't wrong, the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. All of my questions were answered and I had many and I felt confident in making a purchase. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I explained that I needed a few days to get the room ready for the bird and they gave me a week, as they said that the birds welfare must come first! I also would like to thank Derek, who patiently answered all of my questions. I'm just starting out, but with their help and guidance, I know I can make a success of this. So my journey begins and they now have another life long customer! I rate them 5 Stars for their first class service!!!

I took one star off because a pair of macaws were in a cage far too small for them and looked distressed. Of course I don't know if that was temporary housing. I enjoyed the experience of walking around this large shop which was selling far more than I imagined. Good Size bird cages and enrichment toys. Parrots, ducks, chickens and even goats, all healthy.  Everywhere was clean and tidy. There is warm welcome from a sweet parrot on arrival.. Most of the staff are friendly to...worth a visit

Birds are kept in very poor conditions with one of the bantams being pecked to death by the others. I doubt it pulled through with the amount of blood lost. Goats and cows kept in tiny 4ft square pens looking really unhealthy. Stay away!

A little jem I the country for birds a their food stocks.

Bought our budgie from here. Please at how helpful the staff were with any questions we asked. We always come back to their shop for anything we need for our  birds.
