Got a hake and chips, and a jumbo sausage and chips. Chips were lovely, the hake was fried fresh while I waited.. it was actually very nice.. I would definitely get it again since It was so much cheaper and there wasn’t a massive difference between that and cod especially with the chips and sauces etc with it. The Jumbo sausage was nice and fresh too. Nicest chippy round here by a long shot.
Dreadful I asked for a haddock and waited for it to be cooked. There were two other fish already cooked and waiting which I assumed were not haddock. What I received, after waiting a few minutes for the freshly cooked one was one of the already done ones. It was hard, dry and had a thick, solid, greasy later of fat and batter underneath it....totally spoiled my evening. I think that sadly, like many other places, they have given themselves up to their Just Eat customers and the rest of us have to make do
I ordered the regular cod and chips with small curry sauce and mushy peas. Everything is cooked to order so there is a short wait for the food. The front of house staff is really friendly and efficient.Food: 5/5
Great food. However, when you order online to collect for a certain time they only start making it when you arrive instore which can result in a bit of a wait - Hence why I marked service a 4 instead of a 5.Food: 5/5
The service in this establishment is appalling 5 attempts just tonget the order right by whcih poknt the food was cold certainly would not recommend this place to anyone better of going elsewhere not to mention when i got the food the chips were sligjlty undercooked and from what i have seen of the comments to other reviews yous clearly have no repsect for your customers and i am personally appalled by this and i will be advising people not to eat from this establishment and alao my colleague got over charged for his food and tried to mention this to the lady at the cpunter but thos was compleltley ignored
My favourite local fish and chips in England! Battered Fish, Battered Sausage and Chips and Gravy with a Salad! Never fails always satisfied :D Definitely recommend it for an easy pick up!
This place is amazing. The food was lovely. The staff is lovely and friendly and the shop is always clean and tidy.Food: 5/5
My partner was in this hole of a place. He has badly injured his hand and has a cast on it. The owner gave him his food which was 4 different items and wouldn’t give him a carrier bag for the food, bearing in mind he had ONE hand. He tried charging 10p for the bag. The scampi had no salt or vinegar like he had asked and chips weren’t cooked properly. Will never return to give that ignorant man my money!!!
Sidhus is very clean. They fry to order so its always fresh. I get a pensioners portion at £7 which is just right for me with no waste.Food: 5/5
20 minute wait for 2 sausage and chips 1 cod and chips and 1 cheese Pattie and chips . £30 and the chips were raw . Went in the bin waste of money rubbish food .
