This is not currently a hotel, but a well presented and located bar and restaurant in Shoeburyness. The management has recently changed late 2024 and must say that they are very kind and pleasant. Service wonderful! Food portions and quality is decent. I consider the food we enjoyed to be reasonably priced. Same goes with the Shiraz too! It was a great Christmas dinner and finished off with a very generous serving of a superb Apple Crumble. The general menu looks great but may soon change in the New Year to make it even better. I would highly recommend the bar and restaurant if you are around the area.
A pleasant surprise after many years of avoiding the pub. It was a pleasure to go in there on a Sunday afternoon to find a lovely family atmosphere and a very enthusiastic lady singing her way through some Christmas songs, obviously a lot of attention to detail has now gone into setting up this bar and I would certainly visit again.
Not often I’ll leave a review however the food here is stupendous and the drinks are very reasonably priced, good crowd good owners and a good night out. Would highly recommend anyone looking for a lovely nice house in Southend on Sea however this is not actually a hotel, so please don’t get confused.
Lovely pub, just had a refit and really is beautiful inside Oct 2024. Service was really good. Very welcoming
Just had a gorgeous lunch here with my family. Food was tasty and could tell it was all freshly made. I've been here before a while back and the layout has been changed which is a great improvement. Michelle was great will definitely be back.
