Great Cosy Pub and friendly bar staff, recommended as Best Pub in Aberystwyth by locals whilst on Holiday here and certainly lives up to its name

One of the best selections of real ale and beers in Aberystwyth. Old Rosie is the cloudy cider of choice here. On a stag do, they'll use half a pint of it to make a 'brain hemorrhage'. The other half is top shelf! They don't do food, so it's a drinking pub which is fine by me.

Absolutely great place. Popped in for a pint and there was 2 guys with guitars belting out the oldies. Great selection of real ales and the staff were really friendly. Certainly worth a visit.

I'm sorry to give this place a bad rating because of the rude grumpy owner. It obviously bothered him that I was a foreigner, so he commented on it. If you want to work in a pub with guests, you need to know how to treat guests regardless of their origin.

Not a great atmosphere, the girl behind the bar felt like she just wanted to avoid customers altogether, although the guy was better.

A traditional pub with pool table, music live and Jukebox, proper beer and a few TVs for sports, a bit off the main strip but definitely worth a look. A regular haunt of my mates and I for several years now, a favorite for 'lesser' sporting events.

Nice chilled pub, good selection and all around no stress... And it's open in the afternoon, which seems to be unusual for Aberystwyth.

Great real ale pub, good range of beers.
