Good old fashioned pub, banter with the landlord and barmaids and made to feel welcome with the locals x
No frills real ale local pub. Osset brewery beers and guests. Friendly crowd. A little gem.
Good pub if you like your "real ale". If you are not a CAMRA buff its not for you. Cider was a bit ropey in my opinion.

i like this place good real ale pub with good friendly bar staff that does a good pint of carling for the non ale sniffers however the locals stare at you when you walk in as if you are walking into their front room --a local pub for local people ?? -strange
Proper trad local pub. No food just a great ale selection.
Friendly pub with a good atmosphere. Lots of traditional ales and proper pork pies. Garden with plenty of seating and so peaceful. Sports is available and weekly quiz
