Sneaky underhand selling tactics, shame on you Spar! Been buying Newcastle brown from here for years, it's always been on the 3 for offer along with all the other bottled beers. Been tonight charged full price on 3 bottles, queried it as the shelf said 3 for £5.75, member of staff said no that's not on the offer anymore, they had folded the offer advert back on itself for 1 single row. Pathetic! Guess I won't be shopping here anymore, it's nearly £1 cheaper per bottle at Aldi! Never thought such a well regarded company would stoop so low.
Submits unleaded prices of £1.18 online when actually £1.25! At both southport and ormskirk. Has bits of paper stating pay at pump out of order on all pumps! Not so, been like this since opened, just to force customers into shop to upsell. Also dearest shop in southport for goods! Not even co op, spar, mcolls, waitrose as expensive!
Very good new member of staff getting use to till, but no problems.
Good price for diesel, however went there today to fill my car up & the pump is leaking diesel down the hose in which went over me. Had to go back home to get changed & ended up being late for my appointment.
Went at 5am to do shopping. Shop closed attendant said he'd ho round shop. Not ideal. Not a 24hr site as stated.
Modern, clean and spacious forecourt, well stocked with provisions, good staff.
Not 24 hours despite saying so
