Pulled up on my BMW F800GS needing petrol for work. Tried to use the pump, it wouldn't work, so after putting it down a few times to see if the machine was not working. I wave to the guy in the shop, who then starts aggressively shaking his hands at me, not using the loudspeaker i know the petrol station should have. After trying to understand what this guy is trying to tell me, he clearly shows a hand movement to remove my helmet... I then remove so he can see my face... he still wasn't happy and wouldn't turn the pump on... I normally take my helmet off in store if asked, but having the pump turned off on my arrival and treated like a criminal, where there are no signs on entry or at the pump stating such an act is rude and unwelcoming. 
I then thought that going in the store would only escalate the situation, so I drove 2-3 miles down the road to Didsbury shell, to then get treated like i do at every other shell garage... but unfortunately when being served by the man in that store,  who was was very nice and polite, i tried to explain to him what happened very quickly, only for him to usher me away as he was on the phone(clearly not work related from the sounds of it)  The time was around 11am, 13th October.  I stand by the fact that Money is like voting, and I'll make sure that my money doesn't help future Shell Revenue in the future.
