Fish and chips were good, the batter was different to anything I've ever had before, maybe a bit more like chicken batter? The curry sauce was a bit runny so would have better with a bit of thickness. Had some reasonable lunch time specials.Food: 3/5
Delicious takeaway, delivered nice and hot on arrival which is rare, usually I have to put everything in oven or microwave before playing up!. Everything was well fried, though if I was to be picky, there was a slight taste of maybe old oil being used? It didn't put me off enjoying the meal as it was well fried, everything was crisp but not dry. The children had burgers which they all enjoyed. I would happily order again.
Had an hour and half wait for delivery.l had to call to ask where it was. I had a feeling he didn’t even know I had done an online order using foodhub. So don’t think they’re checking their media orders as they should. This was a Monday night so not a busy weekend. But once it got here the fish was lovely and chips were nice.
I left a review some weeks ago now saying that the meal was not up to par, owner replied with their reason. However, today I ordered a large cod and chips and the quality seems to be great again so I accept their reason for the last time I ordered. Trust has been restored I'm happy to say and avoidance of entering the black book! Will be shopping here more often and can now again highly recommend.
This is the BEST fish and chips! The fish is fresh, thick, absolutely beautiful. The batter is lovely, crisp, not oily or soggy like so many. It is perfect! And the chips are wonderful! Traditional and exactly as they should be. Not too fat and stodgy but not too thin - proper, traditional fish and chips!! I have only moved to this area 3 months ago, and already we have ordered about 7 times - every time, perfect! Consistent! AND they are open every day which so many Fish and Chip shops are not. I can order by Whatsapp or call in or the other apps. They are always friendly and helpful too. I came on here to leave a review as I ordered last night, my 7th time, and hadn't left a review yet. I'm shocked to read the review below mine with a one star - and showing a picture of absolutely beautiful chips!!!! I don't understand him! That's how they're meant to look! I would HIGHLY recommend this place, I will not be going anywhere else for my Fish & Chips!!
Food turned up 30 mins late, missing items and these are apparently chicken nuggets, owner wouldn’t give any refund. Worse take away Food I have ever received
Very disappointing. Chips overcooked and dry like cardboard battered sausage dry and falling apart cod no better either! What a waste of £30! Won't be recommending or returning

Service was terrible I came in before other people and I was served last came in for two chips and took them over 20 mins decided to just cancel my order and leave absolutely disgusting can’t even do a simple task
Great little place to get your dinner : hope the pic helps some people as the menu I found was wrong. Update: Now even better as they deliver. Made nice and easy with WhatsApp. I also believe that prices have gone up since I posted the pic of menu but still a good guide line. Now with just eat such a great place
