Always excellent food when we eat at the Shama . Staff always pleasant enough . The only down side to Shama is that you can smell what you ate the evening before on your clothes .

One word, amazing! The curry here is just so well prepared with great flavours and a decent portion size without being too much. The staff are very friendly too. Worth booking as it can get busy even during the week

After hearing so many good things about this place, myself and my partner decided to try it out. We were bitterly disappointed. The service was just okay, granted they were quite busy even for a Tuesday evening, but we had to catch a very disgruntled waiter to ask for drinks, even after we'd ordered. We received our starters which were okay, nothing sensational but edible. The mains, well. We both agreed we have never had a curry so bland! Mine being particularly more so than my partner's, seriously. You could actually taste the chapatti over it. As for the garlic naan, there was absolutely no garlic on it! I don't know whether it was an off day or a new chef, but we won't be going back in a hurry. The Cardamon, in my humble opinion is far better.
